About Duchess Photographic

Hello. I’m Ellen.

I'm a photographer based in Bristol, UK, travelling as far and wide as I can in order to see things I've never seen before. 

I've been fortunate enough to be in the presence of a host of incredible musicians artists and some of my own personal heros, often on commission for Venue Magazine.

I have also been lucky enough to photograph in Malawi on 3 occasions between 2006-2008 with a charity called Malawi Education Project. The experience profoundly affected me, and my photography. My vision of the world changed, and what I saw in Malawi - and in my photographs - redirected me into needing to visually interpret the situation in this small and intriguing country, and to gain greater awareness about the workings of the world.
